Arguably the most successful American entertainer with Palestinian roots, @djkhaled has rarely acknowledged where his parents immigrated from. So it really shouldn’t surprise anyone that he has been silent during the genocide of almost 20,000 of “his” people.

But he hasn’t been silent. He’s been constantly posting throughout the last two months, promoting his music and his endorsements, using the tag line “love is the only way.” For Khaled, it’s the love of money over anything else.

He could use his platform and its massive outreach to provide the American public with a familiar face to associate with a people being dehumanized on every channel playing in his parent’s adopted home. But he’d rather stack cash while his people stack up corpses.

There may not be a coward bigger than him, literally and figuratively.
